COPEINCA, as producer of fishmeal and fish oil, is an integral part of the food chain and, according to the increasingly stronger market requirements, has the GMP+B2 certification for the production process in all its offices.
The scope of this certification goes from raw material collection and unloading to storage of our products. It is a quality management system for companies that produces raw material for balanced food. This system intends to guarantee the security of our products and is based on the HACCP system and management requirements of ISO9001 standard.

COPEINCA has the GMP+B3 certification that covers all activities from fishmeal and fish oil appraisal, to transportation to all our offices and product delivery at port or ship’s hold depending on the sale contract, ensuring food security and satisfaction of our clients.

In COPEINCA we prize Respect for the Environment and are currently implementing our Environmental Management System (EMS) based on International Standard ISO 14001, that comprehends the fish meal and fish oil production activities from unloading and receipt of the raw material to dispatch of the finished product, including all administrative activities.

In COPEINCA the integrity and health of our collaborators is of paramount importance. As a result we have been working on our management model based on the OSHAS 18001 International Standard.

The IFFO Standard allows us to demostrate that Copeinca provides fishmeal and fish oil to the international market in a safe and responsible way. All of our plants are certified by the IFFO standard for responsible supply. |
COPEINCA has the Friend of the Sea certification. This certification shows our commitment to resource sustainability, good fishing practices, and responsibility during fishery of our raw materials.
