Mrs Elespuru has 20 years of experience as an independent director of companies. Also has collaborated in this role through various economic sectors and currently is in food industry, agrobusiness and industrial fishery, both for export. In addition, Mrs Elespuru is a member of the board of directors in non-profit organizations. Her trajectory includes regulated and supervised companies, as well as varied shareholders from family members, corporations and private investment funds. Likewise, she has participated in various board committees and today she leads the Human Resources and Compensation Committee.
Mrs Elespuru’s executive career spanning 20 years includes serving as Chairman and CEO of Procter & Gamble for Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia. Additionally, she chaired her consulting firm and was a partner in two executive search firms.
Mrs Elespuru was the first female president of IPAE, the leading business forum in the country.
Mrs Elespuru has a bachelor’s degree in Geology and French Literature from Dartmouth College (USA) and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Leadership from OBS/ University of Barcelona. She has completed multiple Corporate Governance programs in Peru and abroad.
